I was born in Mexico City in 1980, I studied Visual Arts, but in reality I am self-taught painter. My most important contact with the art world was to know the work of Johann Heinrich Füssli. Currently my work is inspired by the circus world of the nineteenth century, mainly in the 'freak show', of these beings confronting our notion of normalcy and order. For me, the circus is a metaphor of life.
All strange, as demonic, the forbidden, eroticism, fear, pain, tragedy and death are recurring themes in my work. In my painting I intend to combine the everyday with the bizarre, which can take various forms and introduced unexpectedly in reality, even this may be strange, or parallel to the one we know.
