In Franz's pictures, mainly painted in oil/tempera, he creates a distinctive magic -surreal cosmos, where important and ordinary objects, space and body, are combined and penetrating each other. Because of their fantastic arrangements, which seems to leave space and time behind, the observer sinks into a visionary view of the world.
His architectures and figures are quoting reality but they still remain fragile dreambildings.
