"The works in my Drawings gallery are part of the twenty-six drawings comprising my ‘Untitled, A to Z’ series, produced between 2004 and 2006. Imagination and chance had a large place in the creation of these pictures, which are also works of experimentation and research. They were drawn without any reference or sketch model. What I liked in the process, which was a form of ‘stream of consciousness’, was the discovery of each drawing as I was doing it, as I didn’t know exactly what would appear until I had finished it."
