Genevive Zacconi is a New York based artist best known for her meticulously detailed, classical oil paintings. She learned the classical part through years of independent study, in addition to classes at both the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and School of Visual Arts. Genevive's work has been featured in galleries across the US, as well as in Europe and Canada. She has been profiled by MSNBC, NY Press, Hi Fructose, Coagula Arts Journal, and many other publications. In addition to creating her own art, she has also worked as painting assistant to Ron English, headed the first Philadelphia branch of "Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School", and was the founding director of Trinity Gallery in Philadelphia and Paul Booth's Last Rites Gallery in New York City.
