"My artwork is an attempt to create an intricate, inner-connected world teeming with beauty and wonder. The awe and mystery that I feel from nature find their way into my art. Harmony is achieved through the balanced union of opposites, in the place where they meet. In nature, beauty and order arise out of chaos. Sometimes if we stop and look, we can see the majesty of nature moving before us. In moments like these we are enthralled and inspired to represent this beauty, which has moved us so much. Any great artwork will only ever be a pale reflection of God’s works, of which we are a small part. The strange driving force we call inspiration drives us to make new artwork and to partake in the Creator’s game."
