"Some years ago, while under the magical spell of a sacramental entheogen, I experienced visions of a dynamic energy in high-velocity motion, crystallszing and manifesting in forms that can only be described as other-worldly architecture inhabited by alien, angelic-looking beings. All were visible in the same instant - time and space transcended. These visions were too powerful not to be expressed. I was compelled to attempt a translation, and painting seemed the only way. And this has been my path, and challenge, since I first picked up a paintbrush ... to transcend terrestrial forces and distill them into celestial energy; to dislocate matter, scattering it into crystal spirit realms, creating images that stand beyond reality and become a supernatural impulse before they disappear into the void of the Absolute. It would be hard to find a day job to compare with this intoxicating adventure."
